“Now as they were traveling along, [Jesus] entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” —Luke 10:38-42
In a world filled with so many distractions, it’s easy to be like Martha, busy preparing our lives for what’s next and focusing on things that last only temporarily. Our days can sometimes be chocked full of activities such as work, raising kids, cooking, cleaning the house, studying, etc. but why not have something to help us become more like a Mary, pausing to listen at the feet of Jesus and focusing on what lasts forever? I’ve found that one of the best ways to refocus my mind on what really matters in life (even if only for two minutes!), is to read a Bible verse and think about what it means. I hope that with these Mary & Martha cards, you’re able to come to the feet of Jesus everyday and listen to Him, get to know Him better, and experience His incredible beauty, love, grace and joy.
Mary & Martha creates themed Scripture cards for women who want to become more like a Mary everyday. (Note: All Scripture verses on this site are from NASB 1995 unless otherwise stated).

I also have a background in graphic design and advertising and love using my skill sets to glorify God and point everything back to Him! I hope that Mary & Martha helps you on your walk with Christ as it does for me.
